Benton Hot Springs Valley Conservation Easement

January 2008, Eastern Sierra Land Trust (ESLT) and William Bramlette, Trustee of the Bramlette Trust, entered into a Conservation Easement affecting 900 acres of the Bramlette’s 1255 acres in the Benton Hot Springs Valley.

The purpose of the Conservation Easement is to permanently protect the unique scenic, wetlands, springs, meadows, and other natural features of the property. The conservation easement allows grazing and passive recreation that is consistent and sustainable with the protection of the conservation attributes and values of the property.

Furthermore, it encourages the parties to work together to enhance and improve the natural resources for water quality, wildlife, and wetlands restoration.
